Indie Spotlight: Star Fall

Star Fall is an incredibly fast game developed by Golden Gear Games. Now when I say fast, I mean FAST. You control a small glowing star that is gradually burning out. You must constantly grab little floating lights—those are dreams—while avoiding little red floating nightmares.

And you zoom through the night sky at an extremely fast pace. If you don’t grab enough dreams, or hit too many nightmares, you’ll start to slow down and fall. Your reflexes need to be quicker than a meteor ripping through the atmosphere if you want to survive.

In this upcoming mobile game, you have to tilt the screen to move the star around. You can even touch the screen to slow everything down briefly. It looks like a simple but addicting thing to do on your smartphone when you’re not having dreams of your own. But if you don’t have a smartphone (or patience), you can play a version of this game in your browser.

  1. The iOS version has been significantly improved from the Flash version so although the games may look the same we can tell you that they are not.
